A Varied Branch Of Medicine
Urology, also known as genitourinary medicine, is a very varied branch of surgery. It focuses on the urinary system, including kidneys, bladder, prostrate and reproductive organs.
Our expert consultants treat conditions such as kidney stones, incontinence, infertility and prostrate problems.
Using on site diagnostic tools, an accurate diagnosis can be given followed by a personalised treatment plan for patients. Ultrasound, MRI and x-rays may be needed and are available at the hospital to allow for prompt treatment.
Your diagnosis may involve the need for cystoscopy, a procedure used to see inside your bladder via a fine tube with a camera, which can also be used for direct treatment.
The impact urological conditions can have on lives is understood by our multi-disciplinary team who’s priority is to support you and deliver the highest levels of care.
